RNG — RingCentral, Inc.
RingCentral, Inc. increased its quarterly dividend to $0.125 per share from $0.075, a 66.67% rise. The technology company’s shares traded ex-dividend on Aug. 6, 2026.
The increase is RingCentral’s first since it launched its dividend program, so the company does not yet have a record of consecutive annual dividend growth. Its forward annual yield is 0.41%, based on the supplied share price of $67.08.
RingCentral introduced its first quarterly cash dividend in February 2026 alongside its fiscal 2025 results. At the time, founder and Chief Executive Vlad Shmunis pointed to record free cash flow and said the company remained focused on innovation, profitability and cash generation. RingCentral also expanded its share-repurchase authorization when it initiated the dividend, showing that dividends form one part of a broader capital-return program. Improving cash generation supports the increase
The higher payout followed RingCentral’s second-quarter report, in which the company said revenue, operating margins and earnings exceeded the upper end of its guidance. Management also raised its full-year outlook for revenue, margins and free cash flow. Operating cash flow and free cash flow both increased from the prior-year period, providing additional context for the board’s decision to raise the dividend. RingCentral provides cloud-based business communications and customer-engagement tools, including phone, messaging, video, contact-center and workforce-management services. The company said customers using at least one native paid artificial-intelligence product represented a larger portion of annual recurring revenue in the second quarter, while management described AI products as an increasingly important part of its growth strategy. What it means for income investors
The increase raises the cash income attached to each share, but the 0.41% forward yield remains modest relative to many traditional dividend-paying sectors. The more notable feature is the size of the first increase shortly after the program’s launch. Because RingCentral has no consecutive annual growth streak, investors assessing the dividend’s longer-term consistency will have only a limited payment history to evaluate. Future declarations remain subject to board approval and the company’s operating results, financial condition, liquidity and capital needs. RingCentral’s quarterly SEC filing
