SunocoCorp Raises Quarterly Dividend by 1.21%
SunocoCorp increased its quarterly dividend to $1.002 per share, giving the energy company a 5.18% forward yield.
SUNC — SunocoCorp LLC
SunocoCorp LLC (NYSE: SUNC) increased its quarterly dividend to $1.002 per share from $0.99, a 1.21% rise. The units trade ex-dividend on Aug. 7, 2026.
At the referenced share price of $75.83, the new payout represents an annualized dividend of $4.01 per share and a forward annual yield of 5.18%. The yield is a snapshot based on that share price and will change as the market price moves.
The increase continues a series of quarterly payments by SunocoCorp, although the company does not yet have an established record of consecutive annual dividend growth. The locked data assigns it zero consecutive growth years, making the latest action an increase in the current quarterly rate rather than the extension of a multiyear streak.
Structure links payout to Sunoco LP
SunocoCorp is a publicly traded limited liability company whose only cash-generating asset is its ownership of Sunoco LP Class D units. Energy Transfer controls SunocoCorp’s manager, according to the company’s latest quarterly filing. That structure makes distributions received from Sunoco LP the principal source of cash for payments to SUNC unitholders. The filing also says the Class D units carry dividend-equalization rights during a defined period, requiring Sunoco LP to provide enough cash for SunocoCorp’s quarterly distribution to match the distribution on each Sunoco LP common unit.
SunocoCorp emerged as a publicly traded entity alongside Sunoco LP’s acquisition of Parkland Corporation. Its common units began trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the SUNC symbol in November 2025. Sunoco LP described SunocoCorp at the time as the owner of a direct limited-partner interest in the fuel distributor. Sunoco’s operations span fuel distribution, pipelines, terminals and other energy infrastructure across North America, the Greater Caribbean and Europe.
The company’s investor-relations distribution schedule confirms that cash distributions are authorized by the board and paid quarterly. It also lists SUNC and Sunoco LP distributions together, consistent with the equalization mechanism described in the regulatory filing.
What it means for income investors
The increase lifts SunocoCorp’s indicated annual income rate to $4.01 per share. For income-focused investors, the central consideration is that SUNC’s payout is structurally dependent on distributions from its Sunoco LP Class D holdings. The 5.18% forward yield describes the current annualized rate relative to the stated share price; it is not a guarantee of future payments.
